Meet The Founder
Hey, I’m Dyami Pike — the guy behind Workforce Catalyst.
I’ve worked in a bunch of different industries over the years, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: bad culture ruins good people and great potential.
I started in restaurants—where everything felt broken. No structure, no support, no actual leadership. If you wanted to get ahead, you either kissed up or coasted under the radar. It was frustrating, exhausting, and unfortunately... kind of normal in most places I worked.
That pushed me to start learning. About five years ago, I got deep into organizational and behavioral psychology—trying to figure out what actually makes a healthy team culture. Not the buzzwords. Not the free snacks. But the stuff that actually makes people feel excited to show up and do great work.
Fast forward to two years ago: I landed at a company that’s been named one of the Top 100 Greatest Places to Work. And let me tell you, it felt like a cult—at first. Everyone was nice. Supportive. Motivated. I kept waiting for the catch... but it never came. It was the real deal.
That’s when it clicked for me:
Companies don’t need more rules or forced fun.
They need systems that make culture sustainable.
And that’s exactly why I started Workforce Catalyst—to give teams the tools to actually track, measure, and improve their culture with intention. Because you can't fix what you're not measuring.
Our Mission & Values
At Workforce Catalyst, we believe that culture isn’t a perk — it’s your edge. The strongest teams aren’t built on pizza parties or ping-pong tables. (It can’t hurt though.) They’re built on trust, growth, and shared purpose.
Our Mission
To help small and growing companies create workplaces people don’t want to leave. We work with businesses that actually care about their teams — companies that want to invest in people, not just replace them every year.
We use simple systems backed by organizational and behavioral psychology to help teams align, grow, and do work that matters — together.
What We Stand For
Intentional Growth
We believe real change starts from within. We're here for the people who want to grow on purpose — and help others do the same.
Train & Trust
As Branson said: “Train people well enough so they can leave. Treat them well enough so they don’t want to.” We help teams do both.
People over Perks
Free snacks and swag bags don’t fix culture. People do. Our work is grounded in the science of what actually motivates people and builds trust.
Practical > Performative
We don’t do fluff. Everything we build is useful, repeatable, and made to last — not just look good in a company email.
One Team, One Goal
Great teams win together. We help build unity, clarity, and momentum — so everyone’s rowing in the same direction.
The Origin of Workforce Catalyst
The idea behind Workforce Catalyst started way back in 2018 — but not how you might expect.
At the time, it took the form of a food truck called Catalyst. The vision wasn’t just about serving great food — it was about sparking change in one of the most broken industries out there: restaurants. The goal was simple but bold — build a business that operated differently. One with clear career paths, intentional culture, and real relationships that actually mattered.
That idea — that people thrive when culture is built on purpose, not perks — never left.
Over time, it evolved beyond the food truck and became something much bigger.
The first thing built under the Workforce Catalyst name was our Pulse Survey — because you can't fix what you don’t measure. We wanted to help companies get a real baseline of where their culture stood, from the people who live it every day: the team. That survey became the foundation for everything else.
Think of it like taking apart a clock or an engine — to improve how it runs, you first have to understand how each part works together. Culture works the same way. And we’ve built a system around that idea.
What makes Workforce Catalyst different is that we’ve lived it from every angle — as an employee, a leader, a business partner, and a business owner. And we’re still in it. Our founder is both an active team leader at one of the Top 100 Places to Work and a small business owner. That means we don’t just understand theory — we live the tension between idealism and reality every single day.
Workforce Catalyst was built to help organizations stop guessing at culture — and start leading it with intention.
